Volunteer Application Form.

 

My name is Stephen Thiering, and I am the Volunteer Coordinator for the 2026 festival.

We value our volunteers highly and want to create a friendly, supportive atmosphere within teams and between volunteers and the organising committee.

You are recognised for your unique qualities and the contributions you bring to your team and the festival overall. Our aim is for you to enjoy yourself while helping to make the festival a success.

We also want to ensure everyone has a fair and balanced mix of hours so you have the opportunity to attend as many music performances and workshops as possible—after all, that’s a big part of why you’re here!

This year, we have reviewed and adjusted the number of volunteers assigned to each team at different times during the festival. Last year, some teams were over-staffed while others were under-staffed, which led to uneven workloads. These changes are designed to make things fairer and more enjoyable for everyone.

Your roster requests will be carefully considered, and we’ll communicate our decisions to you individually..
